Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups (375 mL)PC®Plain Kéfir Probiotic Fermented 1% M.F. Milk
- 1/3 cup (75 mL)Agave syrup
- 1 tsp (5 mL)Finely grated lemon rind
- 1/3 cup (75 mL)Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (15 mL)Lemoncello liqueur, gin or light rum
- PinchSalt
How to make
- Step 1Freeze ice cream maker insert in freezer according to manufacturer’s directions.
- Step 2Whisk together kefir, agave syrup, lemon rind and juice, liqueur and salt in bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
- Step 3Pour kefir mixture into frozen insert. Churn in ice cream maker until smooth. Serve immediately, or spoon into container and freeze.
